meeting Thunder players out in public!

Met DJ White at Cafe 7 in December. Really nice guy. Shook hands and took a picture with my friend. I know he's not KD or Harden but still a cool guy to meet.

I'm generally shy when I see the players out and I know they don't want to be bothered.

Etan Thomas was at Target on Memorial Road when the Thunder team was doing their Christmas community shopping; among all the players there, he walked over to me and shook my hand as he introduced himself. To me that was really cool from one brother to another bro--Thomas is truely genuine!

I made a point to talk with him about anything but basketball as I did when I met Barry Switzer at a Halloween party in Norman one night (15 years ago) and he acknowledged that I wasn't talking football--he appreciated that.
