Hotrod, there was no accusation or offense intended, rather I was referring to discussions that had taken place on the raised floors in the tower on several different occasions and since you have been following the development of this tower for quite a while thought that you would have seen them. Also there were no huffy intentions, so sorry if it came across that way. Even as an architect I am not one who would ever claim absolute knowledge on something, rather becuase there are multiple ways that things can be designed, constructed, or solved, I only apply my prior experiences to what I see taking place and then offer my opinion as to what may be happening before our eyes. I am not there on the site nor am part of the design team so certainly not trying to establish myself as any sort of authority, rather I have always (attempted anyway) to provide information based on the things that I know to add to the conversation while we watch this awesome structure grow before us. Everyone's background aids in adding to the richness of what is taking place here and I am learning a great deal from others who have varying roles or incites into what is taking place at various different stages of the project. I appreciate your enthusiasm for the development of OKC and admire your passion for its continued growth and success.

Thanks for that OKC@, and I also apologize. I didn't see the posts where it was discussed about the floors. I admit that I did take your post a little personally, and I do appreciate your apology and clarification. I was actually surprised at first, because your points are typically very professional and progressive. I suppose this time you just got tired of repeating the same thing over and over. ... haha

You are right about all of us having a passion for OKC!

Thanks also to installer and others for the information on raised floors being used more than just for computer rooms now days.

Just to add a bit to the raised floor thing - I agree that it doesn't mean that there is a data center there. No doubt there will be lots of cabling and other communications equipment. The new NW library will also have raised flooring. I believe it is something that is just becoming more prevalent.

There is no doubt its getting raised floor theres just different types of it and styles colors laminates and finish the materials that they are made off for example wood core or concrete core

Is it just me or is the cam in the Oklahoma Tower and the live cam on NewsOK getting a wee bit too boring? Now that the floors are rising above the precipice of the cams, I'd just prefer pics from those of us that go downtown. It'll be nice when the Myriad Gardens opens back up to the public. There will be some scenic views from those points!

Only thing I watch on the cam now is the progress of glass installation. I'm losing track of the floors so it all looks the same to me until I see it up close in person every week or so.
