I was trying to hit 100, but between moving and going out Saturday night it just didn't happen. Should hit it tonight though.

Don't know how many of you like to play sports games, but I have been playing The Golf Club on the PC and I have really been enjoying it. It is on Steam and I got it late in the early release (The game officially released on Aug 19). Kind of a breath of fresh air compared to the EA Tiger Woods Series on consoles with all the boosts and other stuff they had. Doesn't really have a career mode right now, but the community has created a few good tournaments. Most notably, TGC Tours with about 700 members already signed up.

I'm gonna be a crazy one in the thread, witness my obsessive alt collection: Pally | Lock | Mage | Shaman.

In short, got my Pally to 100 with a level three garrison, the other three to 93/92 with level two garrisons each.

Incidentally, I highly recommend looking into the HandyNotes/DraenorTreasures addon combo for use while leveling, it will track the rares and ground spawn treasures that you haven't collected on your map and mini-map. If you collect them while questing through the various zones you will easily have the resources you need to open your level three garrison the moment you hit 100.

I didn't get handy notes till I was in Nagrand, but it definitely does help a lot.

Handy Notes has been wonderful. I picked it up for Pandaland and the Timeless Isle to get the treasure chests. You could easily get almost 2 levels just going around collecting treasure around Pandaria.

I'm still trying to figure out which to level next. Thinking resto druid or shaman. Overall though, excusing the cluster the first couple of days, the leveling experience has been pretty good and I've enjoyed the questing. It's been awhile since I could say that.

Hey venture, how did you deal with the Silver Proving Grounds? It's easy till the last phase, and I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Great sale but I wish the Star Wars Tie Fighter and X-Wing were on sale. Though I know they just came out.

They are great games and Star Wars Knights of the old Republic is on there as well but not on sale. They were all on sale when they were initially released I believe.
And just a quick FYI one the greatest RPGs you've never heard of is on sale{Divine Divinity} for only 2.99.

it was a pain. Make sure the orbs are hitting the NPCs. Then as much AOE as you can. It really is a gear check of sorts too. It took me a few times to get it.

Seems like shamans are the class to get the shaft at the start of this expansion... Knew I should have stuck with a mage.

Mage isn't much better off. Frost is doable right now. Fire is utter trash.

Loved that Sim CIty, I remember spending hours on it when I was younger.

Anybody that follows game news, what did you think about Valve taking the game Hatred off of steam greenlight then putting it back on a day later?

  20. Default Re: Video Games

granted I would never play that game, I think steam made a mistake by taking it off, causing an outcry, then putting it back on. Now the game is getting all the press and will be more popular now than if they would have just left it alone. just a bad PR move.

I'm not much into the scary games as I am a pansy, but I do watch other people play them.

Five nights at Freddy's is a newish game by an indie dev and it's pretty terrifying in my opinion. Has anyone tried playing it?

Here is a let's play of it.

Got a new video card yesterday, nvidia geforce gtx 980, and there is no better feeling than running all the graphics on ultra (far cry 4). Hopefully it will finally be able to smoothly run Crysis
