Burger Chef. Home of the mustard burger because that is all you tasted.

The interesting thing about. Burger chef was at one time they had MORE locations than McDonald's. Sadly the were bough into the whole Hardee's/Carls Junior/whatever it is now morass.

Like Sonic, McDonald's has forgotten what it was like to have competition. Their product quality has dropped, their customer service has declined their prices continue to rise and they still can't seem to keep a working shake Machine.

A subtle reminder WHY we need competition!

McDonalds is coming out with a new burger called the Big Arch. They are introducing it in Canada first before it comes to the US. Also a Chicken Big Mac is coming. And for all McDonalds downfalls they always seem to be busy.

They're always busy because there's lots of people like my wife and I that would prefer to stop on the way home for quarter pounders with cheese or Big Macs and fries than any other option. And we've had pretty much all the other options.

I remember the Arch Deluxe at McDonald's in the 90s. It was good but it didn't last long. But man I like to splurge every 6 or 7 months or so and get a Big Mac. I regret it about an hour later and then the regret wears off after about 6 or 7 months then I do it again.

The Big Arch is not the same as the Arch Deluxe. The Big Arch will have two quarter pound patties. And I say the same thing about eating McDonalds. Why does it taste so good going down and so regrettable an hour later.
