A popular resturant in Edmond has a crack running across their dinning room floor that they say was not there this morning.

  3. Default Re: 2013 Oklahoma Earthquake Discussion

Yeah, was just about to post the aftershock. Looks pretty small.

First image is from the Wichita Mountains station, the other is from Leonard which is where OGS is.

    Yawn. A typical fall day.
    Snonado is next. Just wait.

Didn't feel a thing near Lake Hefner, but my sister on the NW side of Edmond felt it enough to call me, and apparently her dog and cat both bolted from the living room. Feel like I missed out on a good one. I was practicing violin with the TV on and the laundry running so I'm pretty sure unless a car drove through my house, I wouldn't hear or feel anything lol.

I didn't feel it in Norman, though everyone west of SE 12th seemed to and most said it was fairly significant. No one I've talked to can figure out exactly why everyone east of 12th felt absolutely nothing.

It was felt at least as far north as Wichita: Small earthquake shakes OKC, felt in KS | Local News - Home

We are well west of SE 12th and the only way we knew about it here was because folks lit up my lovely's FB feed, and that prompted me to sign in here to look for more info. Which of course I found. We miss most of these events, including today. Not sure why.

If Obama would just stop supporting gay marriage, all these earthquakes would go away!

It's been a busy day, I just went to the OGS site and found the following. Notice that the last two of these were yesterday even though they are listed as today since they record them by UTC.

The big one has me almost imagining others, but I thought I felt one around 6:00 and sure enough, a 3.3 after shock.
