Finally adding the glass! Looking great. Once it is enclosed they can start sheet-rocking and it won't be long after that. Great shots!
Pete, is it still the case that no permits have been filed to alter the layout from the original amenities design?
No, they have been filed.
But since they haven't been formally approved, they have yet to be uploaded to the City's website and thus I can't see exactly what changed.
But I can tell by the steel that the auditorium and gym have definitely been deleted. I'm sure they are going forward with their plan to lease out the building for general office use.

This project is approaching Aloft territory when it comes to pace of construction.
It started in earnest in September 2012 (this is not including demolition), so we are coming up on the 2-year mark and still a very long way from completion.
I suspect this why there has been no news of tenant signings; still too far in the future to lock anyone down.
As a reminder, A Good Egg Group withdrew their interest in the restaurant space, so they will have to lease that as well.
This is so true. I walked by there Monday and it looks exactly like the pictures posted 4 weeks ago. I thought once the glass started going in we would see noticeable progress.
I was thinking the same thing before I even clicked on the link. The park and the building have taken way too long. I know the turnaround in leadership at Sandridge probably has something to do with it, and the change in design. I don't know if that is a good reason, but it is taking forever! I guess we were spoiled with the 50 story Devon tower going up so quickly.
They can take their time on the building for all I care (though it is certainly frustrating), but that public park should have been done long ago.
Regarding the parks, they were both closed in late 2011 / early 2012 for demolition.
The latest Project 180 plans show the bordering streets won't be complete until late 2015 at the earliest, which is a pretty clear indication as to when they think the Parkside Building and the parks will be nearing completion.
So, that would be four years of those public spaces being completely closed.
Okay, I *finally* got my hands on the revised plans for this building.
It was reported that this would be 11 stories of office space, after SandRidge decided to lease it out rather than use as an amenity building for their employees, which was originally planned to have an auditorium, gym, workout facilities, locker rooms and meeting facilities.
But, as I've pointed out after observing construction, there were not enough elevator and stair cutouts for 11 levels. As you see here, it is in fact only 8 stories, with a non-occupied (equipment only) basement.
The red lines on the original cross-section indicate where they have added solid floors.
Any update to why this is moving at a snails pace? it is depressing to see almost zero progress every time I drive by. At this rate, we'll get one new window panel a month installed.
aLoft's construction team has taken over work here.
What's that huge hole for?
