    Will, you are an inspiration.

Guys, Will is doing all these photos and videos as a labor of love. For those of you with the means to do so, please be aware he could use some help in buying update equipment.

    Thanks for the reminder, Steve.

I just pinned Will's fundraising site to the top of the Urban Core board.

Now that's a view from the top, great job man..

Will, did Greg indicate to you if you'll be invited back?

  9. Default Re: SandRidge Center & Commons

Yeah I can come back any time. I would need more like an hour to really cover the 28th floor. I just don't know when is better, during the work week or weekend. It's really quiet when most people are gone. I don't like the lighting around 3pm when I can get there after work. I don't like having to keep someone who's busy just for what I'm doing either.

By the way Pete, there isn't anything left of the old interior from the Kerr-Mac days because I asked.

You look at the satelite photo's on google earth, and you see how much this place has transformed. And there's still more..

Today it was announced SandRidge bought Dynamic Offshore Resources for $1.2 billion.

Dynamic is based in Houston and has about 150 employees.

Maybe folks around here now might realize how powerful Sandridge is....we've had a few posters on this board diss them over and over for being punk.

More reasons for a large tower...

It is only a few and they are entitled to their opinion.

Most are very happy to see SandRidge thrive and are excited about their go-forward plans.

Talked to a guy at SandRidge and he was saying they are going to have 2 restaurants, one for the public and the other for SandRidge employees only. They were working with the owners of Cheevers, so I'm assuming Good Egg. He also said the roof of the fitness center will have a basketball court and that Tom Ward told employees that he is really pushing for everything to be done by 2014 because the construction noise is pretty hard to handle. Sorry if old news but found it interesting.

Almost all of the windows are gone from the Braniff building.

Of the things people called Sandridge, "not powerful" was not of them. Steve said they were pretty PR braindead for their size (my words), but that may not be a surprise considering they don't do business with the public anyway.

Just out of curiosity, why don't they light up the tower like they used a couple years ago

Curious... I was just there and did a quick tour of the inside on Sunday and I see Steve did his own thing too.

Holy crap, they bought a company with 150 employees! That's major power, I'm stunned...

I'm very confused... Where exactly is this part of the lobby located??

  23. Default Re: SandRidge Center & Commons

This could be the other side of the lobby that's still under construction... I didn't go all the way around. I never saw this.

Pete, that's a picture of the main atrium/lobby of Children's Hospital. It seems that the OPUBCO film editor spliced that video into the Sandridge video, without knowing what it was from. It's an error.

That's what I thought!! It was part of the SandRidge video -- a mistake by the Oklahoman.

On a side note, the Oklahoman now calls their web studios "SandRidge Energy Studios".
