38 stories would have been perfect for the Okc skyline. IMO that would have made a huge impact. Don't get me wrong I really like BOK but another 10 floors would have really made an imprint.

Yep - 35-38 stories would have been just right.

Sitting at the stop light on 4th at Lincoln and it really looks good. Fills in the skyline.

Given the fact that OKC can barely fill the buildings they have, that would NOT be perfect!

Occupancy rates downtown are very high.

Is this taking into account the potentially less-full current BOK building?

No, because it isn't finished yet and they have plenty of time to find tenants before it opens.

I had heard some time ago that they had a deal with someone that would be new to the market, but not sure if that is still the case.

I've heard a rumor that a Starbucks will be going in here. Any truth to that rumor?

What I saw was an awesome reflection of Devon on BOK. You may have been looking at something different though. :-)

The garage is now tastefully adorned with the tiles that were chipped off of the building that once stood in its place. It's kinda offensive when you think about it...Click image for larger version.

Not the most amazing building, but it was part of one of the last intact block of historic buildings before unnecessarily many were destroyed to create these beautiful garages. I know that adding those tiles is an homage to history, but the whole concept just seems silly. I have to admit, though, those tiles look cool even on the new garage, but it's like putting lipstick on a pig.

Are they going to ever test the lighting on this building? What's taking so long?! I want to see this beauty lit up!

It's very different than Devon where they had hundreds of panels up and down a 50-story building...

In this case, only the crown will be lit and they have easy access to all the lighting up there.

All the renderings show only white lighting but you have to think they will have the ability to do color-shifting as that technology has become pretty reasonable, and everyone is use LED lighting anyway just due to cost efficiency and low maintenance.

I was at the Stars and Stripes festival down at the Oklahoma River this weekend, before I left, I looked at the building and all the lights were white, yeah I hope they eventually use different colors, like the Devon Tower.

How are they doing the lighting here? If I remember correctly, weren't there issues between Devon and the original exterior lighting contractor, so Devon had their internal maintenance team handle the lights?

Not sure but usually the lighting contractor carries that all the way through, including programming, then documents and hands off to the owners.
