While in class, one of the other idiots in my class shorted out the electric for half of Grant H. S. It was out for two weeks because they couldn't locate the fuse to that circuit. It was finally found in the tunnel under the school.

So that's why Grant Alums (I use alums because there were/are few graduates) are known as "tunnel rats"!!

Are the tunnels gone with the new building or do they still use them for breeding?

I can't talk for the other Grant grads, but I never once took a girl into the tunnels under Grant for "breeding".

Neither did I, darn it! My reputation proceeded me.

Congress passed a law stating that I was unfit for breeding. Even the
    senator from Chappaquiddick signed it!

A northsider dame wouldn't go there with me. Not even one from McGinnis!
Prunette wouldn't even go there with me and she slaps up along the haid
every time she thinks about it. I think Mom told her to do it.

Hey, why would a SE cheerleader know about the... OUCH! That hurt!

I must say that the lovely, morally superior and intelligent SE cheerleaders
knew about it only because of our despicable reputation, which of course,
was by word of mouth, the Daily Oklahoman and every parole officer
    appointed to the southside.

    Did I quote that right?

    OUCH!

    Yes, I did.

    DOUBLE OUCH!

I'm going to remember this for a looooooong time!

    OUCH! STOP IT! OWWWWEEEE...

    I'll get back later...

    Is that a gun?

That must be part of the House Resolution to not allow Prunepickers to
    breed, or attempt to breed.

How come everyone, but me, knew that?

I'm going to go to bed and cry in my pillow. Afterwards, I'm going to see if
there are any northside broads who don't know me. Broads are intelligent
females from the southside of town who moved to the northside. At least
that's what they tell me. Mom won't let me talk to McGinnis girls. Mom's
    very smart.

I know that because she tells me so.

Mom will probably ground me. I hate being grounded.

If Mom is so smart howcome she kept you.

Mine said that if abortions had been legal back then........

She would have gone to the prom instead!!

That'd be a nightmare nobody should see. One of us would surely die of self
inflicted wounds before the night was over.

Hey Generals64, sorry to be so late but you know what is going on. If you need a source for Grand Alumni Hats, shirts and etc. We used Steve Maupin (Class of 67). He owns Inspiration Logos, Inc. You can contact him at info@insplogo.com or at 741-5646 tell I told you to call. He did a really good job on our reunion for the '67 greats.

    Isn't that located inside a hide-house?

Wonder what happened to the hide-houses that were/are in Bricktown? Still there?
