Very happy to report after I sent them a note with the issues I had been having about the Scan & Go at exit, and since that time I've used the app 4-5 times with no issue at all.
I think it was a matter of having the employees make sure their device is charged and working properly before people come to them for the final scan.
It's a fantastic bit of technology and since I live so close, I use Sam's as my go-to grocery store when I can. Even though the place is huge, I know where everything is, the prices are great, and that app means I'm in and out of there as fast as I can walk to get the things I need.
I haven't used their Pickup service which would be even faster, in theory.
