After a major downturn in frequency of earthquakes in Oklahoma, at least 3 earthquakes of short duration have been sensed in Stillwater on Memorial Day. The most recent one at 12:59 pm was the loudest and probably strongest one.

I didn't feel anything in North OKC today.
No wonder. The strongest and, so far, last one of today's quakes centered very near, if not within Stillwater city limits, registered only 2.7 in magnitude. While there was only brief and slight shaking sensation, the loud thundery explosive noise was very startling to some residents. The area, bounded by Stillwater, Perry and Glencoe, has been active in the past with magnitudes usually staying below 4.0. Hopefully, it will continue that way, preferably go away entirely.
