Honestly, it would've been easier to hijack an already exsisting thread. It kinda makes no sense in my opinion to name a "hijack this thread" thread, because it just easily confuses people into thinking that there's a topic or a point to it. Of course if you want an example of a "successful hijack, the Memorial Road Development thread was "hijacked" by someone talking about one of the restaurants on Lake Hefner and others put their 2 cents worth to it. This is only my opinion on this, so take it for what it's worth....
