We ate at Mary Eddy's and stayed for one night this weekend. Everything was top notch. The food and service at Mary Eddy's was fantastic, the gallery of art was interesting, and the room was modern, unique, luxurious, and comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel.

We ate at Mary Eddy's a few months ago and it was amazing. Best lamb and broccoli dishes I've ever had. It is now my favorite restaurant in OKC. We also stayed at 21c in a suite. It was a great experience. OKC is so lucky to have this gem!

Did the same as Celebrator this weekend. One-night stay, food at Mary Eddy's. The guest floors and rooms are stunning. This is really a beautiful facility. Absolute must-visit for locals and out of towners. I had high expectations, and was floored nonetheless.

Sir, I must attest, this place is immaculate. I went on a date here last weekend and its just simply sublime. So, what I enjoy upon walking through the door (similar to OKCmoa), there's an interesting piece upon walking through the door that actually is some sort of glass clock mechanism. There's a modern/industrial theme within the interior design of the bar. TV's adorn the bar area in case you want to keep up with any score on a game. Seating between the bar and the first floor art gallery but its important to note both entrances I saw had employees there to provide insight into the museum and bar/restaurant ; so you won't find a bunch of people wandering around lost. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the white pillars inside the museum and the white walls which contribute to flowing with the art viewing experience instead of distracting from it. Lots of intriguing pieces of art. My date preferred to read the description before partaking in the art but I found it more enjoyable to study and partake in the art and then comparing my perspective to that of the artist. I forget the artist's name but there's a piece where two women are sitting on the floor knitting a cloth with henna art/writing on it that screams to me how in their culture they may not always be encouraged to have a voice so they were inclined to instead transcribe those thoughts into the cloth they were knitting. And it just spoke volumes to me. I would say that was one of the few if not really the only piece that truly pulled me in AND matched the description offered by the artist. And although I wasnt "pulled in" by each particular piece I still wholeheartedly enjoyed the entire exhibit. Exposed beams and the flooring carried throughout the exhibit only further encouraged what I choose to recognize as an industrial themed design. Another piece worth mentioning was the wedding gown piece and how each gown offered intricate yet contrary viewpoints to the perspective of the dress next to it; contributing to the reality women (even human beings for that matter) are not monolithic.

I just.....I don't know, I find this place to be phenomenal. Even the landscaping outside of this place is neat and yet unique with that tree outfront.

So, to see the picture you just posted and how it translates to the experience i enjoyed here in modern times....I am at a loss for words with how transformational this spot is. Its a place I could see myself visiting at least 2-3 times a month just to take in the art and catch something I haven't noticed previously and to enjoy the ambiance there. Tons of millenials like myself there and wow what a buzzing atmosphere. This might be my favorite spot in OKC now. And whats funny is you have the Jones assembly right behind it and of course all that film row has to offer so this area will only improve; not to mention the new sunshine cleaners place which I have yet to experience.

Not sure if you know, but the 21CMuseum was the Fred Jones MFG plant. It was a Model T assembly line at one time. Thus where 'Jones Assembly' gets it name.

Finally made it to Mary Eddy's last night and wow. Last nights' meal is now in the running for the best I've had in OKC. I had a duck breast in a sort of green-chile lime posole. My wife had an exceptionally delicious piece of beef brisket. The appetizer of Naan and acorn squash hummus was amazing as well.

Service was efficient but odd. We did not ever have a set waiter. The entire staff seemed to have interacted with our table at one point or another. I did not get the sense that this was their standard M.O., but rather that some roiling chaos was going on behind the scenes somewhere. That said they hit all their marks (nothing was messed up, apps and salads came out one time and as-ordered and they kept our drinks full). It was just...kind of weird.

We had a great dinner at Mary Eddy’s last night. Food and service were top notch. Only the second time we’d had dinner there but plan to go more often after a very good experience. We had friends in from out of town and they enjoyed strolling around the hotel after dinner. Made for a nice evening.

I passed the 21C on my way to work yesterday morning and Utah's charter busses looked like they had just arrived in front of the hotel to unload.

Fast forward to being at the game and seeing the tweets from Woj and Shams saying that it was expected that one of the Jazz players had been exposed to Covid-19 and then the game being canceled.

After leaving the game (around 8:45) I again passed the 21C and it was business as usual there. People were hanging out in the lobby and getting drinks at the bar. Obviously no one really knows the scope of exposure but I found it strange that the 21C wasn't on lockdown. Just a very weird experience in general.

They probably do not encourage staff to watch games during work hours, and most of the Jazz team/employees would have been in quarantine at the arena, so who knows how long till anyone on staff initially heard and it got to someone high enough that they could make decisions to change operations.

So unfortunate for the 4 star 21c Hotel & Museum. There are several hotels with larger beds to accommodate the taller NBA players like 21c, Colcord and the new Omni will be equipped to cater to the needs of the NBA athletes.

Oklahoma City is very fortunate to be among the 30 cities in the United States to host an NBA franchise.

"The hotel sent a required federal WARN notice to the state on Friday reporting it was laying off 109 employees.

Craig Greenberg, CEO at 21c, said Saturday the company made the filing to reflect a furlough extension though it did include some employees permanently laid off due to an anticipation of slower business when the hotel reopens in late summer/early fall.

Fred Hall, majority owner in the hotel and owner of the property, called the reports of the hotel closing permanently “absolutely incorrect.” Hall and Greenberg both said they will be sharing details of improvements being made at the hotel while it is closed.

“We are definitely reopening,” Hall said. “And it will be new and improved.”
