Flex fuel vehicles are designed to burn ethanol, only a minor loss of gas mileage.
For small engines, 100% gas is the only way to go.

For snacks I've found dollar general to work well.
Easy in/out like a gas station, but priced like Walmart.
Buc-Ees has it down. A ton of pumps, easy in, easy out, lots of options.
In terms of gas, well you can speculate all you want, I think 10% ethanol is "not as bad as they say". however I try to buy "100% gas" wherever I go to fill up my tank for my mower and other equipment.
Oklahoma is one of the few states nationwide where this is even a thing, travel anywhere outside of this area, gas is gas, you dont have an option for "100% gas" or whatever.
The whole ethanol additive thing has been a mess from the beginning, tax payer dollars subsidizing the cost of corn to make it viable as a fuel additive. While I'm not a fan of Trump, I can only hope he does something about it, its really one of those things which makes no sense at all if you look into it. I dont want to turn this into a political argument though.
I wasn't big on ethanol when it was only a nickel to a dime cheaper per gallon. It just wasn't worth it. But when it's 30 to 40 cents cheaper that makes a difference. And if you have a car that's been produced in the last five years you're okay with ethanol. However, my son drives a '66 mustang and I've told him not to buy ethanol gas at all if he can help it.
