It was a screenshot on FB a few days ago. Went to Twitter and it checked out, but was deleted an hour later.
OKC seems to be losing it's dining scene with venerable institutions such as Haunted House, Sleepy Hollow, Nomad (Jack Sussy's concept) Boulevard Cafeteria closing it's doors. I realize nothing lasts forever, however, the city seems to be losing a lot of it's long term establishments
Some go.
Some stay.
Jamil's, Cattlemen's and Leo's to name three. Wouldn't mistake any of them for fine dining, but the food is mighty fine and the history is interesting for each.
The property is now for sale for $587,000.
They paid $196K for it about a year and a half ago.
Not to get too personal but the guy who was the owner is a mess. So I am not surprised this failed. Judging by the reviews left on some websites it seems that his personal problems bled into his business life. Shame
Wow, those reviews are generally scathing.
In fact, a friend of mine was one of the 2-star givers and I know she is not one to complain much.
At those price points, they clearly didn't do a good enough job.
Mrs Tritone and I often said "we need to go there." Guess we should have while we could have.
