Pete, will the total be 433 ft. or 430 ft. or will even it be taller with the crown? Thanks Pete.

Thanks for the info KayneMo.....
too bad typical floor to floor isn't 17 feet (vs 14). the extra 3 feet extrapolated out for the 25 office floors would have been a nice 75 feet to the tower; eclipsing the 500 foot mark overall (from 433 to 508 feet), making it the city's 2nd tallest.
Add on a few more feet to say 520 and it would eclipse the two Tulsa 500 footers to be the state's #4.

Maybe they will put a giant 75 ft antennae on top to get over the 500 ft hurdle![]()
The only needed two feet to top Oklahoma Tower...

i was commenting more on the floor to floor heights; curious why they didn't use the more modern 17 feet - which by itself would have made the tower much taller. the use of 14 foot office floors is why it is relatively 'short'.

Thanks Pete.
I got to thinking, as excited as I was (after moving on from the block's demolition, that is) to see this rising, it's lost its luster to me. I think with each picture I see of the parking garages going up all around it, it really takes away from the tower itself and isolates it. I know this is what many of you were warning of, but I didn't think the garages would honestly have THAT much impact.
It's really just starting to look ugly to me. I am anxious to see this topped out and the crown taking structure so we can be done and hope for news on the stage center block soon (one can hope, right?).
A big issue is that there is more ground-level frontage for the two garages than the tower.
Not so bad when viewing from the Myriad Gardens but pretty noticeable from Reno and Walker and Main and Hudson.
I also wish it looked a little different than Devon Tower.
They've raised the crane. I SOOOO wish this tower would be as tall as the crane currently stands. The skyline would loo
Not sure what happened to the rest of text! I meant to say that the skyline would look awesome! It would really help balance out Devon.
You need to remember, Cotter Ranch Tower is a lot closer in the picture. You could have a building taller than Devon, but if it's further away it would look shorter than Devon. Once it's completed, I think it will add some balance to, and expand the skyline. Expanding it is more important to me than balancing it.
Can't wait to see this project topped off & lighted. BOK Park Plaza Tower glow box will help illuminate the skyline along with the lighting planned atop the old First National Bank tower.
You'll see an impressive skyline with the night lights.
Hope this will lead to more of our taller structures like Cotter Ranch Tower & Sandridge Tower improve their lighting.
City Place 440 ft., Oklahoma Tower 434 ft., BOK Plaza 433 ft., Sandridge Tower 393 ft. (all about the same size)
I saw today some major concrete work going on in the middle of Hudson. Looked like they are re-pouring a section in the center of the street.
A section that will be torn up again, in a year or two, for installation of the streetcar. A section that was torn up a year or two ago for P180.![]()
That section was a median that needed to be removed in order to allow northbound traffic to enter the complex.
