I know they have the estimates at 433ft for this tower, but I think it might come in a few feet taller after its completed, when official measurements are done.

The architects are very precise; BOK Park Plaza Tower will be 433 feet (27 floors)--slightly higher than half the height of the Devon Energy Tower.

If the crown of this building glows; it should give an illusion of a slightly taller building especially from the wider width angle.

Not always, I know Devon Tower was slated at 850ft, but came in at 844ft.

Laughing 397 feet--BOK Park Plaza Tower (Wow!). Let's hope they stay on target for 433 feet.

Could I ask what makes you think this?

There are always slight changes at where the ground ends up being leveled at. Adjustments with spacing if something wasn't cut exactly right. The higher you go, the more exaggerated those changes become (short or long). I'd say with the Devon tower, 6' is pretty good for a pre-construction estimate to real life.

Tolerances do end up stretching or shrinking things during construction, I can't remember the exact figure off the top of my head but despite nearly exact measurements, Boeing 737's roll off the line with (IIRC) up to 4 inches extra length or shortened by the same. A lot of 1/16" tolerances can add up to quite a bit. It's funny to think something so exact can not really be that exact.

It probably comes down the the gravity of the situation...

I drove by today and noticed some interesting touches they're putting on the garages. While there isn't much that can make a parking garage look appealing, it's nice to see them doing stuff with them to make them look different than the plain old garage. I also love that top picture of BOK and Devon Tower. When complete, it will almost look like one giant complex from that angle.

Tried to grab a snapshot as I was flying home last night. Didn't turn out all that great, but it's already making an impact from the air.

Should look nicely once it's finished and includes some lighting.

Going up Western today from south to north. Got a good look at this new building from that vantage. I did not realize the girth of this building until now. This is going to be an incredible addition to the skyline on the SW edge. Will be very impressive. Hopefully, as others have said, it will be well lighted at the top and really light up an otherwise semi-dark skyline. Eagerly waiting on the finished product.

Try going down Hudson past Elemental Coffee. Enjoy the rare sight of a skyscraper going up in OKC.

A different look from my view now that it's still dark when I get downtown...

Somewhat off topic, but I was in Chicago this last weekend and wanted to share two examples of Pickard/Chilton's buildings there:

Proud to have two examples of Pickard/Chilton's works in OKC! BOK Park Plaza will be a great addition to our skyline!

Coming up south Shields Blvd. earlier today showed that probably is the best vantage point for this office tower. Its really starting to gain height & take shape, its going to be a great addition to the skyline once completed.

    Excellent Pete... Beautiful.
That's with 8 or 9 floors left, correct? It should more or less be very comparable to OK Tower from that vantage point.

From that angle, I think if you were to envision about 1-2 floors above the crane level, that'll be about where the top will be.

If they stay on schedule, is should be topped out before Christmas.

Yep it looks like it will be topped out soon. A few more floors to go! Too bad they couldn't go about twice as tall as it is now. That would make an impression on the skyline.

Should be 9 floors to go
