    That's just a bit taller than what I would like to see fill up south midtown. Lop off about 3 stories and that's about the perfect height for your average city-center (basically all that is considered downtown) development.

    exactly. washington dc height buildings would be ideal there

    You can easily see this coming all the way down I-235 now. Awesome seeing cranes on the horizon.

    The roof of #15 is just about complete and the elevator cores above are for floor 16.

    Just heard a construction worker drove a fork lift off a building at Sheridan and Hudson. He didn't survive. Was it off the BOK building?

    It is horrific. We have gone through so many years of construction without a tragedy like this. So sorry to hear. Just sad.

    Those things and Sky Lifts are so dangerous. A few years ago a worker died in KC on a Sky Lift at the new performing arts center there due to high winds.

    They are especially dangerous when you are driving one around the 14th floor of a building under construction. The poor deceased must have just lost track of his location on the floor. Apparently he just drove it off the edge. It's a wonder no one on the ground was hit.

    Awful. Does anyone know if construction workers on projects like these have life insurance or some other form of coverage? I just hope his/her family doesn't have to deal with financial strain in addition to their immense personal loss...
