33rd and Broadway Construction

My goodness. Just read about the construction they are about to do here. 330 days (weather permitting) of broadway being reduced to 2 lanes and 33rd reduced to 1 lane? That intersection will be even more hellish that it already is.

Kelly from 33rd to Broadway is about to get a lot busier, and it is already in horrible shape itself.

I just heard yesterday that they failed inspection and so they will need to add 6 more weeks.

what did you hear failed and why will they have to add 6 more weeks?

I heard that they were sloppy in forming the new lanes, i.e. the new lanes formed were crooked and they have to go back and re-do them which will take an additional 6 weeks. This is why they failed the inspection.

drove by the other day and it looks like the intersection is now open, all lanes.

the only issue seems to be in front of the johnnie's and chick-fil-a... some lanes still closed for whatever reason.
