Covell Park just under-went a menu change and is now closed for lunch indefinitely. It appears they do not have their act together in the Edmond location, so this project might be on hold?
Not surprising about covell park. You wouldn't even think it was a restaurant driving by it. Which makes sense because it was never full. While it was good, it just wasn't the same as Guernsey park (sp?). Now the carrot cake dessert was legit. I'd prob only just get that if I had to go back.
Did this place ever open? It says 2014 or early 2015? Any updates would be appreciated!
They haven't even started construction.
I'll see what I can find out.
Anything new on this?
I just saw that this has been relegated to the "dead projects" pile. What have you heard Pete?
I think it's dead for the time being.
No forward movement at all.
Then they should sell the land to someone who will develop it.
I spoke to the proprietors about this project and am happy to report it is absolutely not dead but rather on hold until later this year.
It's the same group that operates Guernsey Park and Covell Park and they told me they have had their hands full but very much plan to go forward with Daebak K, as they own the land and are fully committed to the restaurant.
Hopefully we'll see something happen here before the end of the year and still very excited about the concept and design.
At least it is in the land is in the hands of a local group.
Looks like Daebak K is no longer in the cards as this lot went on the market today. $429,500.

looks like an expensive parking lot
I'll talk to the owner and see what was going on because as of a couple of months ago they were still going forward, just slowly.
