Thread: Home electrician?

  1. #1

    Default Home electrician?

I need a few small projects done at my house -- new outlets, new dryer outlet, etc. -- and would appreciate any recommendations for good and fair priced electricians.

    TIA.

I'm a recent sign-up on this site. I have used Willy Young of Young Electrical for many years. Not the cheapest, but he is a perfectionist who can deal with me - an engineer and finance guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Faith Electric, Randolph electric, Owen Electric. All out of Edmond. I know these guys and can speak highly of them. Randolph and Owen are owned by retired Edmond Firefighters that I have worked with. I know they do good work. Keith Randolph wired my house when it was built and has done other projects for me. Faith has also done work for me and Charlie Owen I know his work.

    James Grimes
    Grimes Electric

Had one company try to sell me $2700 worth of work.
Called Grimes, said wasn't necessary only $140.00

Bill Martin, owns Able Electric. I have only worked with them in commercial circumstances but their team is exceptional.

If you are still looking, Contact Robert Kuney at Mr. Electric in Norman, 405.543.0191.

Bob is good people, as is Denise, his lovely spouse. We've known Bob and his family for most of the nearly thirty years we've been in Norman, and he has done work for us when the need has arisen.

I won't pretend he is the least expensive service in the metro. But I know his work and I know his character, and that resolves it for me.

I ended up using Grimes and they were outstanding.

Really went above and beyond, did great work and were quite reasonable.

    Thanks for the recommendation!
