There's no I in TEAM; we've got to involve more players beside Durant, Westbrook & Ibaka. Hero ball will need to be reserved for when the team has given its best effort and one of our stars need to step up and put the team on his shoulders.

Let's take the next TWO in Dallas!

BTW, I will say that I'm still not worried too much in terms of winning this Dallas series. But I do think the loss yesterday is just another piece of evidence that OKC is a level below Golden State and San Antonio. In the end, OKC still has unreliable non-Kanter bench players, an offense that reverts to bad habits when the going gets tough, no two-way shooting guard, and two superstars who have developed bad habits particularly on defense (e.g., both play lazy D frequently, Russ still gambles far too much). All of those flaws are bigger than anything from the West's top two teams, which is why they're historically great teams. Fortunately, I think OKC matches up decently with the Spurs, which could give them a fighting chance. But let's just enjoy this series before worrying about San Antonio.

From world beaters to chumps within 48 hours. That was painful to watch.

    True!

Granny use to tell me all the time; you got to bring a$$ to kick a$$. Nothing to brag about... Let's see who has a tougher a$$--Dallas or OK.

Maybe they will concentrate on basketball now instead of cherographing a pre game dance.

Good point. Donovan should definitely quit cancelling practices so they can work on pre-game choreography.

Yes, I agree. Every single second they are awake they should focus on basketball only. The exact same way that we all focus every single waking hour on our jobs.

Remember early game tonight. So if you plan to go out to a sports bar and watch, arrive early!

This team is mentally weak. The 2 team leaders let Reggie Jackson and Charlie Villanueva get in their heads. They aren't winning anything until they stop whining about everything. KD whines about not being in the MVP conversation. He whined a few years ago about being 2nd best to Lebron in everything.

Is it really whining when the media is the one asking them drama specific questions like "Did X bother you when X did this?" I mean I suppose they could ignore that particular question and not show any response to it, but I would certainly not classify their recent responses as whining.

You hit the heart of the problem. Some media jerks love to agitate; keep a lot of drama going. My mother often referred to these character types as signifying monkeys...

Good bounce-back win. The Warriors barely lost tonight without Curry. It would have went a lot differently had Curry played, kinda of like how tonight the Thunder did much better when Kevin Durant actually played.

It took one of the worst games of Durant's career for Dallas to steal a win in OKC in game 2; got to hand it to Rick Carlisle; he's working with a 'Frankenstein' team (variety of pieces); his coaching skills made a difference.

We've regained the home court advantage. Let's not expend a lot of energy on the Mavericks. Take them out in 5 games; Thunder should take game 4 in Dallas; then finish them off with a big celebration at the Peake in Game 5.

Looks like Brooks is the new Wizards coach. Might make an already interesting offseason even more interesting.

The Wizards are desperate to lure Durant back to D.C. They've got to remember that Durant claims TEXAS as his home.

How does KD claim Texas as his home?

IIRC, they use to say from the University of Texas...

Just my personal observation about the way he boasts about Texas. He only spent one year at U.T. Don't recall this much attention about Washington DC-Maryland area of late unless he refers to early childhood life.

Announcers say the university players attended at all NBA games (of course unless they didn't attend one). KD without a doubt considers DC/Maryland his native home and UT just his college. I've heard him talk about his upbringing and loyalty to DC time after time (whether it's repping Wale or the Redskins, talking about his childhood, or the way people from DC wear backpacks) and I don't think I've ever heard him say a thing about the state of Texas. Having said that, none of that means that he wants to play for DC.

Good observation! ...or Scott Brooks for that matter.

Going home also means that everyone you grew up with wants a ticket to the game. That can be tough on players.

You know that they know you as an NBA player have access to tickets & money (millions).

Just can't image what it would be like to deal with friends or people you thought were your friends if they are constantly hitting you up for money. It's dangerous when you're in the spotlight. People trying to sharpen your memory of them.

Selena (singer, Corpus Christi, TX) had concerns wherever she returned home from a tour. You don't know who you can trust; you get paranoid about the closest people around you.

Disappointed in K.D. , reaction with a fragrant 2 being called in tonight's Game 4 in Dallas. Have seen worst.

Game 3 video above; did the league take any action on Felton's punch or forearm to Adam's mid section or am I seeing things?
