There is something to be said for that too. If I didn't say so before I'm really wishy-washy on how I think they should go moving forward. Might be a damned if you do damned if you don't thing. Glad I'm not making these decisions and only a fan with opinions.

I just saw that the Brooklyn Nets bought out Joe Johnson and the article listed the Thunder as a potential landing site for him. It will be interesting to see if the Thunder try to take him on. They do have an open roster spot after the trade for Randy Foye. I can see him having an interest in us considering how things have gone with the shooting guard spot this year. I don't know if he would cause issues with KD and Russell because he does have the ball hog tag on him.

I think he'd by okay on the second unit, would make it much better. I'd say go for it.

There have been a lot of rumors that Johnson to Cleveland is practically done, but those are just rumors. We'll see. But I could actually see OKC making the argument that he could start. He's certainly worth a shot.

He could be a shot-in-the-arm that they need for the stretch run and playoffs.

I saw a shooting chart that Mayberry (I think) sent out over the last 20 games or so, and he's been shooting really well, especially from 3. I think he would be a great option, if we're able to get him.

    Minimal defense.

Pathetic. This team isn't winning anything.

Want to bet they don't win a playoff series? I'll take that bet.

I hear ya.... 4th best record in the NBA is freaking pathetic!!!

I think you should probably start considering following another team before we slip to 5th best... I'm not sure you can handle that kind of decline based on this comment.

The rest of the season is going to be pretty interesting. The fight between us and the Clippers for 3rd (and avoiding Warriors second round) is going to be fun to watch.

What is it going to take to get this team to play some good defense? Thoughts?

We can't break up the Clippers-Grizzlies matchup, that is tradition!

A number of new players that want to play defense? This team has shown that they can play defense. And they constantly talk about playing defense. But game after game they don't. That tells me they don't care about defense. Hopefully they can find enough offense to stay in the 3rd seed for the stretch run and then dig for another gear in the playoffs.

He's going to Miami (welcome to Miami).

Get a player with the caliber and mindset of Thabo Sefolosha and the nearest thing to Ron Adams added to the coaching staff.

OKC is beginning to track as not beeng a free agent destination. Don't think it is the team, maybe the place? just saying. Maybe place matters more than we think and an option to have place and championship possibility trumps (no pun intended) championship possiblities alone. I do not think most NBA players desire a relatively quiet suburban type city

The Thunder have missed out on players mostly because they didn't want to pay them enough. It's not the city. If Cleveland and Oakland can/are attracting FAs, it's because of the management. OKC's management has left a lot to be desired in terms of acquisitions and trades the past few seasons.

    Agree with you, Jake:

The organization started out just plain CHEAP! Now we have a chance to attract and/or retain quality free agents, it's as though the Thunder are ready to open up the wallet.

Often wonder what would have happened had we kept James Harden--well, we'll never know.

OKC is a 'family oriented friendly' town. You would think that has some value; unless you have a single free agent out there looking for partyvilles (Dallas, Denver, Chicago...). We have plenty of available beautiful city & country girls who can cook, clean and be there for her man.

Nice of the GSW's to bring their own refs.

They might win one or two playoff games but I don't see them making it past the first round. Cleveland-Golden State Finals rematch and Durant may be tempted to go to the Bay Area after all.

In all seriousness, Stephen Curry is a machine. Great win by the Golden State Warriors. Wish Stephen Curry the best; hope his injury isn't serious.

Just witnessed one of the greatest moments in NBA history by Stephen Curry & the Golden State Warriors.

Wish this could have ended with Durant on the floor in overtime. We'll have another regular season crack at the Great Golden State Warriors.

Hang in there Thunder Nation . . .
