Right on!
Mustang matches Yukon; their competitiveness has accelerated both schools.
Also, Midwest City & Del City High Schools; they have almost identical gymnasium blueprints:

Tundra, you've been a great addition to the OKCTalk board; keep on posting...
Sorry for our Walter Mitty moment; we need to get back on topic......as grandma use to say:
'It was fun; but I must run.'
Yeah which is crazy, cause when I went to Mustang it was garbage. Everything was old, portable buildings everywhere. Only thing new at the time was the bandroom. Now the campus doesn't even resemble what it looked like when I went there. I mean it's great that it's nice, now, I just hate when I tell people oh I went to Mustang, and they are like must be nice, and I have to say, no, when I went there it was terrible, lol.
Wow. the player signings keep adding up. The quality of soccer is going to get a lot better around here. Can't wait for the open cup. Jeez.
Very excited; Rayo OKC is releasing their Pre-Season schedule this afternoon.
Saturday, April 2, 2016 - 7:00 p.m.
FC Edmonton vs Rayo OKC, Miller Stadium
(Yukon, OK)

Still waiting to confirm one of the preseason games. Schedule to be released tomorrow now.
So, the Preseason schedule is out:
Feb. 27 in Dallas against San Antonio USL
March 5 in Springfield, Mo. against St. Louis FC USL.
March 12 in Miami against Miami FC.
March 19 in Jacksonville, Fla. against Jacksonville Armada FC.
I'm hoping they have a HOME preseason game later in March. A little disappointed. Not sure why nothing is at Miller Stadium?
NASL Jacksonville Armada will play their home games at Community First Park at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville:
Architect: Populous, operator SMG - $34 million stadium opened in 2003 for baseball (11,000 capacity) similar to The Brick, Slugger Field (Louisville) & ONEOK Park (Tulsa). Community First Park is situated between Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena and EverBank Field (Home of the NFL Jaguars) in proximity to Downtown Jacksonville.

Some NASL & USL clubs are using baseball stadiums to test the downtown core where many will eventually build their stadiums:

Louisville: Louisville City seek to build soccer-specific stadium with eye toward possible MLS bid | MLSsoccer.com
Portland Timbers replaced the baseball team and now have one of the best soccer stadiums in the country. They are now talking about increasing the seating to 25,000!
Tampa Bay Rowdies got control of the baseball stadium as the primary tenant and put bleachers where the outfield used to be. I would love to see that happen here. Probably won't.
The only problems I see with baseball stadiums are the pitcher's mounds. I believe Tulsa put their filed outside the pitcher's mound? Maybe someone else can verify that. That makes for TERRIBLE sight lines! If they can go down one of the foul lines then the seating is REALLY close to the field. At Bricktown Ballpark, if they could go down the left field line then there is a natural supporter's group section behind and ABOVE the goal. You would also then have the Bricktown garage available for watching the game.
Considering OKC's new and very successful affiliation with the Dodgers, I would say that your gut instinct on not taking over the ballpark is correct.
So I'm a non traditional soccer fan trying to get into it. Got into rugby sevens a few years back and been watching soccer as I can at Skinny Slims. I don't know names, so can folks tell me as a OKC guy who I should be excited about and why on these players? Are they names a fan should know?
