I don't remember it but wouldn't that have to be NE 122nd instead of NW?

I love Boston Market. Did they ever have them in OKC? If they did, it would have had to been prior to the mid 1990s when I moved to OKC for the first time.

I always make it a point to stop by Boston Market if I am in Dallas and am in need of fast food. Excellent chicken and excellent sides, and much healthier than KFC. I used to eat there all the time when I lived in Charlotte.

I'm pretty sure we never did, they did used to run commercials here all the time though....

Wasn't the one in the shopping center a couple of blocks North of 63rd & May? I think there is a Honey Baked Ham there now.

I did a search of the archives from the Oklahoman and couldn't find any reference to a Boston Market here.

No. There has never been a Boston Market here. Including the location mentioned above, near 63rd and May. I lived near that intersection for nearly a decade in the nineties and early aughts, and would have been a frequent customer had there been one. In fact, until the recent explosion of great local food options, I would have driven some distance to frequent the place, as I like it.

Last of ten years ago it's was here last time in Oklahoma City just about three or six months. I remember that clearly then just closed down. Five years Afterwards we went to vacation in Dallas, Texas and I noticed that Boston Market still alive and over there we ordered hot meals, and very good. Actually I was in California where I grew up . There are lots outthere Boston Market still best one than KFC, and you has images that before and after. If you get back to make a real difference between old Boston Market, and revision new build in Oklahoma City just about to tell them if they planning to building next time anywhere else in Oklahoma Country.

I think they were expanding to Oklahoma City right when McDonald's sold the chain. I didn't know they actually ever had one opened here though. Are you sure?

If there ever was a Boston Market here, it would have had to have been prior to 1996. There was never one in the late '90s or early 2000s. Personally, I don't think the chain ever was here. I do wish it was though as I would be a regular customer. I don't get excited about a lot of fast food, but that is a chain I would be excited for. I much rather have Boston Market than In-N-Out.

As a resident of the area (NE 122nd and I-35) for forty years I guarantee you that there was never a Boston Market in the area. We always kept up with restaurants there and were thrilled when Cracker Barrel opened as well as IHOP and Waffle House. Now, I have left the area and a Whataburger has opened, a BWW is on the way as well as a Johnny Carrino's. I might have stayed around if I had known (not really).

Without a doubt there was never a Boston Market in OKC, I kept thinking they were going to build some because of all the tv advertising they were doing, seems like approximately 15-20 years ago...

English is obviously a second language - I knew what he/she was trying to say. At least, I hope that's the reason...ugh.

FWIW, the restaurant was known as "Boston Chicken" in the 80's and 90's.

Changed before the end of the nineties. The first time I tried the place was in Greenville, SC in 1999.

It was Boston Market by at least the mid-1990s.

I don't think there ever was one around here. I remember too many times seeing their commercials and wishing they had one, only to find out they didn't.

Another thing I really like about Boston Market is their use of natural, farm-raised chickens as opposed to the industrial, pumped with steroids chickens that KFC serves. If they were in OKC I would be there all the time.

It could have been a knockoff of some sort. Several people seem to remember Boston Market here but there was never actually an official Boston Market or Boston Chicken. Maybe there was a local imitation at one time?

It's kind of like there never have been White Castle in Oklahoma but many seem to remember one in Moore. What was actually there is Burger Castle or some local imitation.

Nope. Not sure what you are transforming into a boston market in your memory, but not at robinson crossing in norman, nor down the street at brookhaven village.
