We're going undefeated, baby!
God, Spartan, just own your words like a crow and eat them.
QB was nearly decapitated. Both star running backs we're banged up. And Sterling Shepard played the second half with an entire roll of tape on his left ankle. Apparently T Knight has forgotten how to play, the starting receivers were doing their jobs getting open, but Trevor was only comfortable throwing to the third stringers(who made what, two catches?) that he must get the most practice with. I'd say the squeak by victory was more on injuries than bad performance. The O line struggled again made evident by another potentially game losing personal fowl from the big freshman Orlando Brown, he kicked a kid last week. But Mayfield is the guy who can motivates them.
Sure I just don't understand people that rush onto OKC Talk or Orange Power in the middle of the first quarter of a game to get their anti-OSU jollies. Trust me, I watched the game, and cried big man tears if that helps you feel any better.
I might suggest just watch the game and have a life and then go to OKC Talk to post about it when it's over. Anyone who counts OSU out before the fat lady sings must have missed the whole season. Unless it's 51-21 entering the fourth..that'll just about do it.
I guess new trend is to blame coaches publicly after loss....wow.
OKState DE Emmanuel Ogbah: "They pretty much outcoached us. We were outcoached."
Unbelievable how much stuff is thrown from the stands at opposing players in Stillwater. Do that at OU (or pretty much any other sports venue in America) and you're getting tossed. Is it only vs OU that they allow this to happen? Or do they just assume zero crowd control in general?
Ogbah got dominated by a RS frosh.
Yeah, but it's not proper or productive for a player to publicly criticize/question coaching. That's a slippery slope to player discord.
Anyway - last night's result aside - it was a really good year for OSU football, and they definitely exceeded expectations. Should get a great bowl bid, and will be a solid matchup against just about anybody. Their future looks bright. Glad OU has them in Norman next year. Of course, it's not like OU has ever had THAT much trouble in Stillwater...
^But that is the comparison. Anyway, players tossing out coaches publicly is weak. Elliott last week at the other OSU and Ogbah last night. Make a tackle dude.
I understand that there are assholes in every crowd. We had a battery lobbed into the OU section (landed at our feet) at BAYLOR of all places, and that was BEFORE the Sooners commenced to dismantling the Bears.
I've just never seen so much stuff thrown onto the field and in the area of players as I see pretty much every Bedlam game. Usually that stuff isn't tolerated AT ALL, anywhere. It's possible that it might be more noticeable in Stillwater due to the closeness of the stands, but still. Throwing objects onto the field and into the vicinity of players should get you tossed immediately.
Great Season Pokes! Now go win the Bowl game
I thought 11 we got 10, oh well. Still a great season.
^^^^^^^
Happened again this year, at least twice. Once when team was exiting tunnel, and once after a score in the end zone, the latter caught on camera.

^ I hate that ****. Makes me so mad that people do stuff like that.
I had OSU at 8-4 this year (still think they are an 8-4 team), so getting out of the Big 12 at 10-2 makes me pretty happy. OU looks like a team that can win the National Championship. I hope Baker stays healthy. Without him I don't see it happening. The dude is an absolute gamer.
Yes but those idiots are not allowed on the sidelines like OSU allows them.
Clearly there is no over sight on who gets onto the field.
Maybe Holder needs to stop worrying about keeping the red out of BPS (which he did a horrible job of) and worry about who he allows on the sidelines.
Idiotic, stupid, and shameful. Has anyone identified this jerk?
What's frustrating, is that OSU and Stillwater has a rep among most of the other schools of being a great host. When I attended, it was something we prided ourselves on (vs how other towns and schools who I won't name treat visiting teams). They've gotten thank you notes and letter from visiting fans and coaches and even players. Yet bedlam brings out the worst idiots.
Yeah, OU has same rep, and has for decades. I've been told by many fans of other schools that Norman was easily the best road game they have ever attended based on how welcoming fans were. Makes sense that both OU and OSU would have this rep, considering how nice people in Oklahoma are in general. It seems the only time either side is ****ty to visiting teams is during Bedlam. It's a shame.
