Interesting. I've yet to find a beer of theirs that I would buy again. I haven't had a chance to try their Ogletoberfest since I haven't been anywhere its on tap. Won't buy it in store because I still have unfinished 4 packs of the stout and Arujuna taking up space in the "guest door" of my beer fridge.
    Different strokes.

Really looking forward to coming to this place as soon as hell freezes over.

Dropped by yesterday to check it out. I like what they did with the patio area although it faces west and will be warm during the summer.
Very nice beer selection. Didn't eat but what I saw looked good.
I'll go back and try the food. I liked it.

The Anthem Ogletoberfest is pretty good as well. I'm actually a big fan of Anthem. Really like their Urobouros Stout, Golden One, and the Powerhouse Pils isn't bad for a pilsner.
    Trousers,
You really should try Anthem's Juan Pedro, it's excellent (in my opinion). I have enjoyed all of Anthem's beers.

I'll definitely give it a try the next time I see it.

Bikinis reopened and stayed open for almost a year after the fire. Then the same owners closed it and partnered with Infernos. Since I've read some good and some bad about Infernos I wonder if they'll get more business with Rock & Brews opening or if it spells their demise.

Were they being ironic with that name?

Infernos? If that's what you mean it is odd. Bikinis was failing badly and the owners sought out options/partners etc. It is kind of ironic thecresult was partnering with Infernos.

Yes, it seems like a place that almost went under because of a fire and then voluntarily went under to be named after a fire, would be a tad ironic.

Ah...I stand corrected. Shows how much attention I paid.

Apparently you and most everyone in OKC didn't notice them. Most of the time there were more employees than customers.

Funny thing though. I talked pretty often to the girlfriend of and others that knew tho owner of Dan O'Brian's. From what I heard it was doing just fine but he just wanted out of the business. If so it wasn't so much a failure as a quitting.

Wildly successful businesses shut down by choice all the time. Was it still connected with the deep fork group at that time? Or as a result of the wrongful death suit after the beating death of an police officer when it was located next door in what was once north fork, then rokbar, then Dan obriens, now infernos, and originally built by apple woods.

I would bet that the lawsuit had an effect. That might make me decide I wanted out of the bar business.

DNR isn't even COOP's strongest beer. All their Territorial Reserve stuff is 13%+. Also, Anthem brews a beer called Pappy Burleson that is 17%, the state's strongest.... Talk about a sipper. It is excellent, btw. If anyone ever wants to talk beer, let me know, it's my favorite topic!

    Jrod,
I would enjoy talking beer with you, but right now I'm too busy drinking beer!

Stopped by here today around 2 , drank a couple of beers and tried some wings. The place had a terrible vibe, they prices were stupid expensive , the layout was weird, our bartender was a buffoon, there were probably 10 people in the whole place......it's Friday afternoon people are having drinks all over town except here. This place reminds me of a Planet Hollywood type of establishment touristy not a local hang out. They should have put in bricktown and tried to capture more hi way business. I give this place six months before it closes down.

Uh, no thanks on having it in Bricktown. Despite an undeserved reputation, most places there are local; even the places you might think of as themed. The district doesn't need to add a half-baked, poorly-executed chain, which is what your review indicates that is

It would have been best along I-40 though. Somewhere with easy highway access, and lots of visibility. It probably would have done well in the strip commercial centers in MWC or MacArthur.

That might have saved it. I'm wondering if they got a smokin deal on the location, if that had something to do with them going with the memorial local.

Saved? It just opened and I've heard a number of positive reviews compared to one negative. I don't think that kills it quite yet.

3 beers and some wings and my tab was $39 before the tip, I'm not a cheapskate but that's way too much for most people unless you're on vacation. Oh also they have this stupid plastic little tikes playground shoved over in one corner of the patio, it's just a strange place and that has nothing going for it other than some cool music videos and a nice beer selection albeit an overpriced selection.
