Thread: Shoe Shine Stand

  1. #1

    Default Shoe Shine Stand

Does anyone out there know where I can find a good shoe shine stand in OKC? Is there one downtown ... maybe in the concourse? I don't want to go to the airport, but am willing to drive downtown or someplace else.

I remember a nice one in 50 Penn Place. There was one in First National but with the move outs I don't know if it still there.

As for the concourse I vaguely remember one but I am not sure whereabouts. Edit: It is below leadership square

Downtown: Underground level of Leadership Square; in the Park Avenue Salon in Oklahoma Tower; in the barber shop under Cotter Ranch Tower. The barber shop in FNC's concourse had one, if it's still open.

A little further north, you can get a good shine at the Nichol's Hills Style Shop (barber shop in Nichol's Hills Plaza).

Does the guy on the 1st floor of the Okla. County Courthouse still have his stand? By the vending machines. I've used him before and he gave a great shine and was very friendly. Its been awhile though....

There is one at the Western Wear Outlet in Stockyards.

Yes he does - lower level by the snack area outside the elevator area.

In Oklahoma Tower, 2nd floor there's a lady who has a shop for that kind of stuff. Also previously mentioned leadership.

Thanks for the heads up. I just got back from the one at 50 Penn Place. The guy did a great job and it's a short drive from my office.

I found a product several years back called Urad. It comes in black, brown, and neutral , it is literally the best shoe polish you'll ever use. You can polish a pair of shoes or boots in less than a minute, dries within seconds. I use to have to order it online, but stumbled across it at Rawhide Ranch in automobile alley. I still love getting my shoes shined from time to time, but for a once a week brush up I use the Urad..... It's awesome stuff
