Totally agree. I'll tell you what though, they are not consistent in their locations. I love this one here in MidTown. I've been to the one in Edmond a few times and each time did not like it at all.

I've only eaten at the one in Edmond and was not impressed at all.

Will make sure to stop by the Midtown location soon.

I agree. Every time I have been to the Midtown location it has been mouthwateringly good. One of the best burgers in the city in my opinion.

Pete, as someone who visited one Garage location initially and was not impressed, I must confess a second visit was entirely worth the trouble.

The location opened on I-240 was, at best, mediocre upon their initial opening, and I had no great desire to go back. However, after visiting their location on Sooner in MWC and found it to be *excellent*, I gave the I-240 location another shot - and it had improved immensely. Burgers served super-hot and surprisingly quickly.

Now, I've never visited the Edmond location, so I can't speak to it, but my point is that I'm not generally one to give very many places >1 or 2 chances, but Garage has me sold. Every visit after the first to the I-240 location has been very good, so perhaps another location or a revisit to Edmond might be a better experience

And I'm a pretty tough customer to please when it comes to burgers. I've got fairly fixed ideas on what makes a good burger (and, of course, I'm right), so getting a nod from me on a burger place isn't easy.

I like the setting in Midtown enough I'd eat there just for that.

This is why I'm not always a fan of restaurants becoming chains. Inconsistency. Tuckers being the obvious exception because of the awesome management of A Good Egg Dining Group.

The one in Edmond is crammed into an old put-put golf clubhouse. Just the atmosphere alone is not very giving, and really the food doesn't taste the same. The MidTown location is in an old building with high ceilings and lots of windows and feels very open.

Not a regular visitor simply because Im not a fan of the service/ordering setup. Why not make it a full service restaurant and do away with the order line. Its not like they dont have servers going around.

Also not a fan of their buns. Too weak and fragile for what are some large and heavily topped burgers.

go with the wheat...i've found they hold up better

I've experienced differences at the I-240 location between lunch and dinner.... have been several times for lunch and it was good but went once for dinner and while it was less crowded my burger came out like a hockey puck.

Have never had a bad experience at the Norman location for dinner nor have I had a bad experience at the Midtown location for lunch.

But I find S&B to be the same... I've had consistently good visits to the original on May. The one on 9th Street has been hit or miss and I won't return to the one on Walker.

Been to the Edmond Garage location a couple of times. Really wasn't impressed enough to make another trip back over there.

Experiences vary. I occasionally take my department at the office to the Edmond location for our monthly birthday lunch, and it works reasonably well; the room at the end with the four picnic tables works fairly nicely if you have a sizable group.

That said, I do prefer the Midtown location if I had to choose one or the other.

I remember thinking the lighting was all wrong at the Edmond place... Too bright / harsh... Something.

    I think it's a great concept though.

Been to the Edmond location twice, Midtown three times, and Del City about the same. Favorite is Midtown, though it's mostly atmosphere. I haven't noticed any service/quality issues at the Edmond location, though as others have said, the layout isn't as good as the other locations.

Go with the Sticky Finger and add a fried egg. You can thank me later.

I like that they have a good variety for vegetarians like me. I usually get the avocado melt when I go the Garage and enjoy it immensely. I have only been to the Midtown location so I cannot compare to the others.

One complaint that I had was they don't have very many healthy options (i.e. grilled chicken). I haven't tried it yet, but they recently have added smoked, sliced turkey as a protein option.

I'm at the midtown location at least once a week if not twice and thus cannot count how many times I've been there now. It has yet to let me down.

When is the one by the outlet shopees opening. That building is going up fast.

    About the same for me.

A Midtown resident told me that the manager at that particular Garage is really great, which is no doubt why that is a stand-out food quality location for them.

Yeah, I've only been to one other Garage (Norman) but was nowhere as impressed as I routinely am at this one.

The Garage in Norman is pretty great, but the one in Midtown is by far the best. The one at 122nd & Rockwell used to be good, but its consistency has fallen off considerably.

Meh, splurge once. One hamburger once in a while isn't going to make that big a dent in the "healthy" department. It's all about moderation.

My daughter tried the sliced turkey "burger", and I took a couple of bites, and it was very tasty.

The turkey burger option is on point. Definitely recommend.
