Does anyone know what they are updating/building at Norman High? The front of the campus is completely torn up.

Does anyone know what they are updating/building at Norman High? The front of the campus is completely torn up.

I took a tour of the high school last month with a group of my reunion classmates. It was escorted by the principal. He mentioned several major construction projects at the school which were going to be taking place. I don't remember specifically what was going where in the new areas.

They are creating Freshman Academies and University Centers at each high school.

I did a little digging and it looks like this work and much more is being funded by the 2014 bond issue. The Norman school district web site details what is being done pretty extensively: 2014 Bond Project Update | Norman Public School.
