The women's clothing retailer will take 2,849 square feet between a remodeled Eddie Bauer and Ann Taylor LOFT on the first level, very near B.C. Clark Jewelers and Pottery Barn.
In 2006, J.Crew introduced Madewell, "a modern-day interpretation of an American denim label founded in 1937”.
In addition to the stand-alone stores, the Madewell line is sold in up-scale department stores such as Nordstrom.
Madewell operates 85 stores, including a location at Northpark Mall in Dallas.
Construction of the store should start soon and take approximately 3 months.
This is yet another new-to-market national retailer for Oklahoma City, with many more expected for the Glimcher development at NW 63rd and Western and Chisholm Creek at Memorial and Western.
