The more I look at this the more I like it. Retro-touches without going into Disneyland retro territory. Whimsical without being silly or artsy-fartsy.

Heritage Hills resident buys property on Walker Avenue for office building | News OK
Nichols is set to start construction later this summer on a two-story, 17,109-square-foot office building designed to reinforce the urban fabric along Walker Avenue and complement The Edge across the street.
$450,000 building permit application today for this project.
What does the dollar amount mean in the permit? Is that their total cost to build or the value of the project once complete?
It means that they're doing $450k worth of work.
It may not be the only building permit.
So what is happening with this? I haven't seen any movement at all.
Don't know what is happening.
They haven't even demolished the existing building.

Excellent point.
Hope once work wraps on the Edge this project will move forward.
The existing preschool building on this property was demoed today.
I missed this one. Great project!
So that answers the question about the trees.

After they scraped the existing structure early this year, absolutely nothing has happened on this site.
I was always under the impression that the owner was posturing for a buyout before ever actually building this. I don't think it ever gets built by current ownership.
