Consider the source. Probably a great guy, but his reports can at times leave someone scratching their head a bit. then again, that might just be me.
They are now aiming for a mid-February opening of this project. Thanks to warreng88 for the photos:

Big splash on a stick: Mule owners plan corn dog restaurant in shipping containers
By: Molly M. Fleming The Journal Record January 16, 2015
OKLAHOMA CITY – The OK Sea multiuse shipping container project at NE Second Street and N. Oklahoma Avenue will make waves this spring when The Mule owners open their restaurant, Anchor Down.
Anchor Down will reside in a 1,104-square-foot unit on the ground floor. The restaurant and bar is expected to open in March, said Kara Bundren, development coordinator for City Center Development LLC, the group behind OK Sea.
She said restaurant owners Cody Rowan, John Harris, Joey Morris and Roger Eleftherakis have done a great job at getting people to the Plaza District on NW 16th Street between Classen Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue.
“There’s a lot of people from Edmond and the suburbs that just go The Mule,” she said. “We knew those were the types of guys that we needed to put into that space.”
The Mule guys knew that space was for them. Morris said they were thinking about starting a food truck-type concept with corn dogs. This seemed like a good alternative, and they can also have a bar.
“(The shipping containers are) a great idea,” he said. “We were toying with a second concept and trying to figure out where. For them (the OK Sea developers) to put something together like this versus what they could do there is really neat.”
But these won’t be the same type of corn dogs someone can order at a nearby Sonic Drive-In. The restaurant will case all of its own meat and make its own batters and sauces.
“We’re not a fool to the fact that we can’t just buy hot dogs and dip them in batter and fry them,” Morris said.
The dogs will come with sides such as house-cut beet chips. Corn dogs with sides will be offered at $6 to $8.
The restaurant will open to a 1,000-square-foot patio, which will sit next to a space Morris said will become a dog park. The restaurant owners will do some of the build-out to make it their own place, and City Center will complete some as well.
Morris said the group did its own work for The Mule and really enjoyed being able to put its stamp on the project. He said they are still debating if that includes a chalkboard where the names of people who are the recipients of prepurchased drinks can be notified.
“We’re are still talking about if we’re just going to make that the thing we do with all our concepts,” Morris said. “I like having it.”
The OK Sea will have four tenants in its seven shipping containers. There is another 1,280-square-foot retail space on the ground floor, but City Center hasn’t found a tenant yet.
“We just haven’t come to anything we really love,” Bundren said. “We just want something that will be really great for the neighborhood. You just have to be patient for that kind of stuff.”
The top container will have office spaces, and businesses are in discussion for those areas. The spaces measures 640 square feet and 1,280 square feet.
“We’re open to anything (with the offices),” she said. “We just want to have great people that will add to the community.”
Corn dog stand?
Why don't they just go ahead & make the other empty space a bozo dunk tank? The other space can be a "worlds smallest woman" attraction. With the mobile retail, we might as well put in some mobile homes! We can have the state fair all year long!!

Any picture updates to provide?
Thanks in advance.
Oh, I'M certainly not saying it's overpriced (or even on the high side) for great house-made, handcrafted grub. Just saying someone is bound to pop off in here all butthurt because they think great food should be almost free, and can't wrap their mind around the idea of a gourmet corn dog. Or PB&J.
Are the shipping containers going to be painted or remain as is?
Can they legally put permanent stairs there since the line belongs to the Union Pacific? I'm just happy the wooden stairs are there.
I wouldn't think so. But the way they have poured the concrete leading to the tracks, and then the concrete on the other side - it almost appears like they plan on something semi-permanent or at least official.
The existing wooden bridge is great, but that is some non-code structure built by secret ninjas.
