Thread: New Liquor store on 2nd and Littler

Default New Liquor store on 2nd and Littler

So I've been watching something go in at the space next to the Subway at 2nd and littler. I found out this week it will be a large liquor store I think this is a decent use for the space, and hopefully it will actually stay there a while. It seems like this space has been a revolving door since the Blockbuster closed. It looks like they're going for a very upscale look inside.

I always have sort of a soft place for that space, since a lifetime ago it was my family's grocery store.

Well, I was a kid when it closed down. It was my Grandfather's and Father's place.

Gotcha. My family had a few stores, and a restaurant there in downtown Edmond right around the corner, in the same era. So, I didn't remember the grocery store...but I was also pretty young at the time.

Are we talking about the space where a gym was, recently?

We stopped in traffic on 2nd street yesterday and from the street, you can see the word "GINN" in silver letters inside on the wall. My daughter and I had a chuckle when she saw that the Gym had been replaced with Ginn.
