SandRidge Commons OKC Aerial Video
I bet the Sandridge security staff were freaking out.
I thought the Aloft hotel won the prize for the project taking the longest to complete, but I think this one takes the cake! Wow....
From Urban Pioneer:
Awesome video.
Windows on the north side pretty much in (thanks to warreng88 for the photo):
Went by here last night and it's a stunning building. Very cool from all angles.
Now that looks like a real building finally. I've never been able to mentally match up the renderings with the building actually being built until the last few pictures of the north and east sides of it.

Thanks Johnny!
Wow, the glass installation has come a long way.
Couple of nice ones taken today by catch22:
That lot is prime for development. Too bad they want to put a park there.
Given that SandRidge has already created a park out of much of their block, it's certainly true that the Kerr/Couch area is far less needed for open space.
+1
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
This is what I have been saying - they are simply putting too many parks and open space downtown. It is like they are trying to recreate Le Corbusier's towers in a park dream - which was a total disaster everywhere in the world where it was tried.
Does anyone think that something will come up one day that requires to get rid of the new park and add more office space (In tower form)? I guess someone could buy the land am I right?
The land is owned by the City.
However, SandRidge and Chesapeake are in the process of investing millions into the new park, so there are absolutely no plans to sell.
Then I guess everyone should have high expectations with this park, they shouldn't settle for less than extraordinary
