NEW YORK -- Country music superstar Kenny Chesney says he's not gay.
In an interview to air on CBS' "60 Minutes," Chesney explains why the word "fraud" was used on the document filed by Renee Zellweger to annul their marriage. Chesney said they thought that was the least harmful word to use. But he admits "they were wrong."
Zellweger and Chesney were married in May 2005. It was the first marriage for both. Four months later, Zellweger listed "fraud" as the reason she was seeking an annulment.
Chesney, who is set to go on tour this summer, says he has no regrets. He says he loved Zellweger and it "was real."
Zellweger won an Oscar for "Cold Mountain" in 2003.
