Confirmed today that Kendra Scott Jewelers has leased space in Classen Curve.

The company is based in Austin and has 15 locations, from Newport Beach to Scottsdale to several locations in Texas. Their items are also carried by Nordstrom and several other up-scale retailers.

Classen Curve was recently acquired by Ohio-based Glimcher, and this is their first new lease for the property. Glimcher also owns The Triangle at Classen Curve (Whole Foods, Anthropologie) and as we reported about a month ago, has signed a lease with home furnishing chain West Elm for that project. In addition, Glimcher owns Nichols Hills Plaza and the land between it and Whole Foods / Anthropologie.

While owned by Chesapeake, it was the stated strategy of Classen Curve to lease to only local retailers, so Kendra Scott is a break from that approach. Due to Glimcher's reputation for developing and leasing properties to many national tenants, expect others bigger names to follow.

This will be the first location in Oklahoma for Kendra Scott.
