Sexy. Got to say this is a complete 180 from the original deep deuce proposal.

I am curious if the second floor that will be above the lobby will be the meeting space and other amenities, just more rooms or possibly just a two story lobby/bar area. I can't really tell from the floorplans.
My only suggestion/request would be to add some more windows facing front, but I don't know how that would affect room layouts.
Looks a whole lot better.
I think it is really ugly. It is awkward and has no character at all. It looks cheap with minimal design.
Man. I'm kind of divided on this really. Still looks like something that should be out on Memorial or MacArthur but yet still looks cool. I like it, but the location is still kind of throwing me off.
I don't like that it has the air conditioners through the window.
Well it looks 10x better than the original plan.
I agree that its better than the original plan but it still looks like it should be out on Memorial or possibly NW Expressway.
God-awful.
While better, it still baffles me this is considered appropriate development for an area saturated with such properties. If anything, the barriers to entry should be greater now than ever and this design, though an improvement, still does nothing to enhance the area.
This looks like something you would see out on the suburban fringes of a metro area. s00nr1 is right. There are so many of these types of glorified motels downtown that the standard should start to get higher. Downtown development should favor mixed use more and more as time goes. This does nothing to enhance the area, at all. Downtown could really use another full service hotel.

If all of the developments come to fruition, Bricktown will boast nine hotels with a room count topping 1,400.
That is very ugly lol.
What happened with this today?
This is probably an ignorant question, but if the speculation Pete was hearing about a new Marriott further west into Bricktown is true, how does this Marriott happen with a new (and hopefully more upscale) version going in just a few blocks west?
