That food looks amazing.
That food looks amazing.
If you haven't heard, Skinny Slim's in Bricktown will be hosting watch parties for all 3 of the USA matches. They were able to zone off many parking spaces out back where the parties will be primarily held. There will be a big screen set up accompanied with audio. There will also be food and beer vendors as well as merch for sale out back. 21 and over only.
This might go down as the biggest USA watch party in Oklahoma history when it's all said and done!
Watch Party Schedule:
USA vs Ghana / Monday, June 16th @ 5pm
USA vs Portugal / Sunday, June 22nd @ 5pm
USA vs Germany / Thursday, June 26th @ 11am

That's awesome!
The people at Skinny's really know how to create a fun and friendly atmosphere. I bet these events are a blast.
What's the target for having food at the BT location?
Or you can come visit more. Or at all. :-)
And because John won't self-promote, I'll do it for him. Consider buying a USA Soccer shirt from John's local t-shirt company - MENT apparel: USA SOCCER | MENT Apparel
John has paired with Skinny Slim's to make these shirts with ALL PROFITS going to help pay for soccer fields in impoverished areas (correct me if I got the charity wrong, John). He'll be selling the shirts during the games at Skinny Slim's and they're available at the Energy FC store on Broadway.
Thanks Dan.
To clarify, all profits from our USA Collection will go straight to Fields and Futures (Tim McLaughlin's organization). The Energy will also be selling them in their retail store on Broadway as well as all home games. If you plan to be at Skinny Slim's for any of the USA matches, I will be there selling them.
This is a collaboration between MENT Apparel and Skinny Slim's. We are extremely proud of this project and hope to help a lot of kids in need.

Awesome!
Wish I could be there for this event... Sounds crazy fun.
No one posted about it. But apparently it was a huge success. Saw tons of video and photos showing a great time. Looks like after the win, there was a huge party in the street under the bridge.

The posts were all in the 2014 World Cup thread.
Oh, okay. Didn't see that thread.
Skinny's representing in Brazil:
OK that's cool.
I'm so jealous.
Is that the owner?
The OKC chapter of the American Outlaws (USMNT supporters club) just posted on Facebook they expect more than 2,000 on Sunday.
Should be a blast.
Russia is a great place to visit, especially Moscow. So much history. Really awesome walking around "Red Square." Is the WC going to be in Moscow? I would expect that.

DETAILS FOR PORTUGAL WATCH PARTY:
- There will be porta potties!
- The watch party itself will be up and running by 1p, or right before the 2p game. We encourage ALL folks to come out early and avoid those pesky lines!
- Speaking of lines, there will now be TWO lines at the entrance, one for cash and one for cards. We will also have a card machine outside so tabs can be run out there, rather than having to go into Skinnys. We hope this will speed up the process.
- We will also have more folks checking ID's in the lines, so please have them ready! Also, please have your cash/card/ticket allotment order ready when you get to the front of the line.
- Skinnys will be customizing the beer trucks a bit in order to get through orders faster. There should be a line strictly for Hamm's and more beer in general so we shouldn't have any shortages.
- There will be TWO more TVs added to the mix, so we will have 4 total 70 inch TVs out there. We will also be moving the truck back under the bridge just a bit to reduce the glare. There are plans in the mix for viewing the Germany game and/or (knock on wood) any knockout matches. So buy lots of beer!
Again, please get in early so we can reduce the line length pre-match. Also, MENT Apparel and AO OKC tents will be set up, so buy some sexy merchandise!
I will pin this post to the top and add any details as needed. PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS!
We look forward to seeing you Sunday!
