Very excited for this. The map really makes clear how the line between Auto Alley and Midtown get blurrier by the month.

10th is becoming the Main Street of Midtown.

At the far west end you have LIFT, then St. Anthony with the expansion, Plaza Court, Fassler Hall / Dust Bowl, R & J, Pop-up Shops, Bleu Garten, Packard's, Broadway 10 Chophouse, more retail and restaurants for 1101 and 1100 N. Broadway, Indian Motorcyles and on the far east end GE Global Research Center.

I love this place already.

I particularly love that OKC is getting more local, intimate places. Ludivine, WSKY and Skinny Slim's have shown the way and Sidecar, Slaughter's Hall and this project will be three more in this smaller-is-better approach.

That Gazette article says they are targeting Sept. 26th to open.

That seems pretty ambitious but happy to know they are so close. This is going to be yet another cool, intimate, local spot.

Props to them for having an actual website, *and* a menu on said website (Hillbilly needs to take note)!!! Probably won't be going there often 'cos of the prices (it'll be in the Ludivine, Red, Museum Cafe type of places rotation, which is about once a year for them), but looks like good food.

The drink menu looks great. If they have a decent bar tender,a $6 old fashioned is a sweet deal.

I'm also curious how literal the interpretation of the vintage menu items will be.

Ya, klnda surprised at the little bit higher than I thought food prices but the drink prices are much lower than I would have guessed. So I guess it all balances out...

The prices appear to be a little on the high side but all the entrees include one side and the drinks ($5 champagne & wine by the glass! $2.10 for a Miller draft!) are down-right cheap.

So, a very nice dinner with a drink would come in right around $20 per person. That's pretty darn good.

yah I was ok with the cocktail prices. but those dishes at those prices I found a bit much.

I hung out with Russ some, way back in the day. In high School it was pretty much a mix of Heritage Hall and McGuiness kids, partying like rock stars. There would be 30-40 people at a house party, and Russ would be out back....messing with a grill. Cooking up crazy **** for all the drunkards to eat. You wouldn't think that Zuchini with Paprika is all that tastey...but, the way Russ cooked it up. It was so good. Or maybe it was the alcohol? Who knows? Either way, I'm excited to see this guy have the success he has. I already love Ludivine, but this place will be just as unique.
