Have to say that seeing that staging area makes me sad for what used to be Kerr Park. I know it never worked the way it was intended to, but I still had a soft spot for it. Looking forward to having the public space restored there.
It doesn't look promising..... The Sandridge landscaping is done by the same firm and it is pretty sterile and lifeless (no humans on site).
The Sandridge landscaping isn't really designed as a public space to linger and use. It is landscaping, not a park design. It creates green spaces to enjoy on the way to or from the SR hq and a pass through to other places. Right now, there is little foot traffic in the area period, unless it is SR employees. And, the streets have been torn up. On the other hand, the space by this building should be designed as a true public space. Let's see how it works before we condemn it. And, let's see what happens when other companies and developers actually put people working and living in the area. This has been a very, very dead area for a long time.
Kerr & Couch Parks.
Yeah, it has been a dead spot. Hopefully, when this is all done and this plus the Braniff building get filled, it should have a lot more life to it. It'd be nice if there was a little better flow from here on to Automobile alley. Just need something on that surface lot at 4th.
Glass panels starting to be installed. Will be interesting to see the color and level of transparency. Since there is no western exposure, my bet is they will be more clear than the Braniff.

Thanks!
Those vertical strips are mullions for the windows.
Glass going up; looks very similar in tint to the Braniff Building:
Would it be possible to have glass that would be that clear in the rendering with no reflection?

Thanks Lazio85. Enjoy all the photos.
Yes, thanks so much Lazio. Your photos are always fantastic.
That glass sure looks like the same used on the Braniff Building.
anybody think this will have a rooftop restaurant or viewing area?
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
I appreciate Lazio's photos! Looking forward to the curtainwall installation.
(At least I think it's curtainwall from glancing at the plans, but it might not given that the building is broken up into several different flanks going up)
