Norman Ghost Stories

Last fall the book Campus Ghosts of Norman, Oklahoma came out, and the publisher has asked me for a new collection about Norman beyond the campus. Anybody got a spooky story?

There's a house on Debarr just north of Boyd Street I've heard was haunted.

The details are foggy, but there was either a drug addled or schizophrenic hallucinating, and a person was decapitated, and the head was found in a dumpster in that little shopping center on Boyd and Debarr.

That was a very high-profile case in the media in the mid-late nineties:
