I have been picking my order from the Oklahoma Food Coop at this location for a few years now. They have been working on this building the entire time. There has been a lot more activity lately and when I picked up my order last night I was told I would notice a big change next month when I pick up my May order. The lawn on the west side was completely torn up yesterday and there was a backhoe moving a lot of dirt around.

Great to see this building coming back. It has great bones. I owned it for about 16 months back around 2004-2006. It was literally full of trash which we cleaned out and the basement was completely flooded which we pumped out and cleaned. It was too much of a project for me after we got it cleaned up and sold it to another developer. I only owned the building lot and not the empty lot on the corner. The person I sold it to got cross ways with the owner of the lot and they discovered the driveway for this building was half on the corner lot and the guy put up a fence so there was no parking for 612. Don't know what happened after that but looking at assessor's site, she took a pretty big loss when she sold it. I still have the old original wrought iron but it really can't be used as it isn't to code as far as the width of the balusters.

    Wow, very interesting.

As with so many properties, the rising economic tide creates opportunities even where previously their had been unworkable finances.

Suddenly, almost every older building is either renovated or has specific plans to do so.

This sounds almost like a good rustbelt real estate tale..

    Such cool space!

They really did a nice job.

When the two Jeremy Foraker projects are completed in The Paseo, that who area is going to take a pretty big step forward.
