I can't get past being perplexed as to she can be pregnant that many times, have live births and no one question where the babies went.

Sometimes a woman doesn't know she was pregnant until after she goes in labor, so how would someone else know as well. Maybe that was her problem. She got surprised 6 or 7 times. Never mind she already had three much older kids. It will be interesting to see if her own explanation makes a lick of sense.
