Love a low in the high fifties, high in the mid 80's/90. Two months of highs in the mid nineties beats two months of highs in the upper thirties, in my book. Love the growing season.
There are differences in cold just like there is with heat, 30 degrees in OKC feels a whole lot colder than 20 in Denver just like 100 in Austin is miserable where as 100 here in Denver isn't too bad (50% vs. 15% humidity). The humidity and wind make a big, big difference, my wife found that out the first winter up here when she could go outside with a regular fleece jacket and it was 16 degrees and she is cold natured.

The only time that is has been real frigid the three winters here was when we were on the fringe of the "polar vortex" around New Year's and we were getting down to around -15 and highs were below zero, it was still nothing compared to what the Upper Midwest was going through. As long as the wind wasn't blowing I could go out and get the paper in just a sweatshirt and jeans during that spell.

I can't argue with that. Sometimes it is nice to snuggle with a loved one by a fire with the lights dimmed with a blizzard outside. That seems pretty cool...

This is my thing. If isn't snowing out, I really just don't like the looks of all the trees without leaves and such. Plus, I have tons of plants I have to bring inside and everything just looks dead to me during the winter. :/

    There Are No "Temperature Extremes":
There is Only The Balance that You Create
    Between Perception and Reality.
    By the Grace of God.
    Amen to that!

I am kind of the same way here. As long as I am in the shade, bring the heat ooooon! Nighttime temperatures though I prefer in the 60s though; it's also better for the plants(less stress on them) if the temps get down to the upper 50s and don't get above 60 at night.

Man, I never thought about that. I can vividly see, as we write, all the
students that never, ever had an aversion to peanuts. Besides none
there must have been far less than imagined.

Here's a list of all the autistic children in our neighborhood and classes...

I hope this list is sufficient. I know that having none may be a great
disappointment to those who want things to be worse than they are.

Of course, this was before the NEA (no education allowed) was
    enacted.

Yes. I'm calling you weird. In fact I'm calling you VERY WEIRD!
Hey, you're the one who came out to Ingrid's! I was already there!

For the record, exactly how much did you tip the band?

I don't like hair cuts. But not as much as I can't stand cheapskates
that don't tip irrationally large amounts of $$$

I'm almost the same way. I like coats because they hold my keys and
wallet. That's the the best thing bout cool weather. I also keep a coat,
gloves and a toboggan cap in the truck at all times. Even during the
    summer.

I wish they've put more pockets in ladies' clothing. It would not kill anyone to have a chest pocket although I'd never use it for a pencil. I have some sense of style, after all. I think it's a plot to force women to have to carry a handbag. It's the American version of foot binding. I use a small backpack when I can just to free up my hands. It is almost enough to prompt you into wearing overalls. I sometimes wear light vests just for the deep pockets on the inside but that only works in certain seasons.

Sorry - big deal, to me. I can sew - I should design a better product and stop complaining. Just feeling held down by the man.

I carry a small backpack called the Osprey. It's really a shoulder bag
and I carry it as such.

Almost anyone who has met me knows I carry that bag.
