NW OKC near 63rd and Meridian with no plans to go anywhere else.
Los Angeles, St. Louis, Portland, OR, Orlando, FL , and now Edmond. Love Edmond, Love OKC, love Oklahoma, love my job. I think I am here for good.
Grew up in Edmond and North OKC. Live in St. Louis, and have since graduating college 15 years ago.
There's nothing inherently negative about OKC that's keeping me from moving back. It's just that after 15 years, I've built a life in St. Louis, with job, friends, civic connections. As much as I dearly love OKC, moving back would be like "starting over." I'm content with following the city's progress from afar.
Having said that, if I ever were to leave STL for any reason, I'd probably move to OKC rather than "starting over" anywhere else.
In Douglas Place.
Lived in Norman from '90 to '94 and a few other places around the state over the years. Moved to Florida in '94 but my entire family lives in metro OKC. Would I move back to OKC? I don't know what my immediate future holds (as some of you know) but I would love to live in downtown OKC one month a year and Paris another month, but keep a permanent residence here in Jax.
Born at Mercy. Lived here and there in the meanwhile. I've been in my present house for almost 20 years in Council Grove.

I do not plan to move but probably will buy a second home along the gulf at some point. If money were no object, I'd keep this place, have a place in British Columbia and one in Southern Florida.
Let's see...OKC or JAX...OKC or JAX...OKC or JAX?
I live in Deep Deuce and am likely to do so for the foreseeable future, although I am thinking about spending as much of my summer as possible in Chicago in the future. I despise July and August in Oklahoma.
Does Norman count?![]()
I live in Oklahoma City, but I don't live in Oklahoma City.
When I leave my house, if I go north, east, or west, I'm in Oklahoma City.
If I go south, then I'm in Nichols Hills. And then Oklahoma City.
I live in The Island Paradise known as The City of The Village.
(which is a strange name, if you think about it: not exactly redundant, but sort of oxymoronic =)
Where I used to live--miles and miles and miles away from "Oklahoma City" per se--no matter which way you drove you ended up in Oklahoma City.
That was The Center of The Known Universe known as Jones, Oklahoma.
Urban Sprawl is a magical thing, geography-wise. =)
That tower, in the shot above, required special permitting.
They built it so you could see Oklahoma City without driving or walking.
Plutonic Panda...I can see that tower all they way from over here on the other side of Lake Hefner!
NW OKC since 2003. Before that, primarily north Edmond +/- a few or couple years in Missouri and Stillwater, respectively.
Born in OKC, lived in OKC for 30 years (with a short stint in Edmond right after high school when my folks moved there), lived in Chicago suburbs for 12-13 years, Seattle suburbs for 1-2 years, then the economy tanked, I got laid off because I had the highest salary on my team, only job available before my benefits ran out was in OKC, so had to moved back and have been living here for 5 years, in OKC city limits. If we have to stay here, I want to get back to where I lived as a kid - NW 63rd/May area (we're currently at NW 164th/May-ish).
Born here almost 55 years ago. Still here. Plan is to be here the rest of my time on Earth.
Grew up in Southwest OKC, and lived there for about 24 years. Moved to Portland, OR for a couple years, then moved back here, against my better judgment, for the lower cost of living. Hoping to be able to move the family out of Oklahoma within 5-10 years. I'd like to go back to Portland, but anywhere in the Northwest would do. I'm interested in Vermont, but my wife's answer to that was a resounding "NO!"...she's not much of a snow person.
I don't wholly regret moving back, since I met my wife and started a family afterward, but my work here is done and greener grasses await.
Pretty much the same here. My remains will go to OU Medical Center. Whatever is left when they are done with what they do, will be cremated. Then, my oldest Son is to take my ashes and spread them over my ex's front yard (if I pre-decease her). That is if my other options don't pan out.
Born in Edmond, went to school for a bit in San Marcos, TX and then lived in OKC (nice parts, downtown, and really bad parts of the city) until recently and moved to Edmond. Will probably stay in Edmond forever.
Fairly new to Mayfair Hills. Before that spent 10 years in the Las Vegas/Aurora neighborhood.
