I'm not in charge of this; I don't set policy at The Oklahoman. But I can request that you honor my preference with my stories. Just be cool about this - you don't repost entire articles from bloggers, so give news sites the same consideration.
It was posted at one time by Pete, I think, that we could post full articles from The Oklahoman because he had an agreement with them.

I couldn't find the exact post but I was able to find a similar one for Okcbusiness.com:

I believe this because I have actually posted full articles since reading that we had permission to do so. If I hadn't believed we had permission I would not have posted those articles.

I will certainly refrain from doing so now, however.

Added: and please note that the post at the link definitely mentions an agreement with The Journal Record and The Oklahoman.

I worked there from 1997 until 2001 before transferring to Yukon Interurban and am sad to see it go
My friend who works in Leadership Square would meet once a month for lunch.
I have noticed the change in business over the last year or so.
He had employees that have worked there for 10 plus years.
Please post the new location if Jerry decides to re-open.

Anybody have a "go-to" and "old standby" they like to order here? I have never been to an Interurban but I just received a gift card and there is one very near to me, so I thought I would give it a try. What are your recommendations?

You cannot go wrong with an okie pig (BBQ sandwich) or their Cajun bowtie pasta.

I've never been to Interurban, so I don't know how it compares, but the Belle Isle Restaurant at 50 Penn Place has a very good honey pepper bacon burger.

I believe Belle Isle restaurant was an interurban. They compare pretty favorably. I think IU is probably a bit better but most of the dishes are similar.

If you like a little heat like me, you should try the Flamethrower Burger: Pepper Jack cheese, jalapenos, honey pepper bacon chips, and spicy ranch dressing. We usually go Tuesday nights to the Memorial store because it is both Burger Day ($5.99 for 1/2 pound burger) and Kid's Meals are $1.99 that day. Can get my family of 6 a great meal for under $30!
