Should Stillwater have it's own sub-section?

When Guthrie, Chickasha and Shawnee get a sub-section then Stillwater should be considered. And no, it won't become part of the OKC metro area any time soon.

Honestly I think the "Tulsa & Suburbs" section should be renamed to "Other Oklahoma Cities" and leave it at that. Look at how relatively low traffic that section get - 7 threads this year, 20 for all of last year. Consolidate the non Metro Communities into that section and then leave "Other Communities" for "Outside Oklahoma".

Honestly I think the "Tulsa & Suburbs" section should be renamed to "Other Oklahoma Cities" and leave it at that. Look at how relatively low traffic that section get - 7 threads this year, 20 for all of last year. Consolidate the non Metro Communities into that section and then leave "Other Communities" for "Outside Oklahoma".

Well there's just not much development in Tulsa these days, besides their fabulous new park.

As for Stillwater, it is definitely booming with a lot of great development and not so great development, so there's something for everyone including bchris and plutonic panda (I kid, I kid)

That said, we have no Stillwater posters besides Bunty and those threads just collect dust.

Without starting a new thread, I would like to contest dividing Mid-Del and adding Choctaw.

Since the change in regime at the Del City Council a few years ago, projects and civic development have exploded.
Midwest City is continually growing and is advancing in project size and scope.
Choctaw is becoming a boomtown, when the new road improvements happen to Choctaw Road (The 240 to the Turnpike) I believe development will carry as well.

There are already several active OKCTalk members of All 3 communities and lots of projects for the future (Realized and Speculated)

or.. i'll settle for different thread icons instead of just the "Mid-Del" icon, to at least differentiate the threads visually.

One reason why: City-data.com says 82.5% of the people both live and work in Stillwater.

If you go to the Suburban & Other OK Communities, you will see a group of of sub-forums that contain threads about a specific community and then threads below that about other comunities.

Which made me realize if the thread is changed to Tulsa and Other Oklahoma Cities then the main forum containing all of them may need to change.
