Bwahahahah. This is even funnier.
Uninspired Oklahoma St. Fan Waves Giant Turkey Leg, Eventually Takes a Bite, Waves it Again | The Big Lead
Know most of the jabs are for fun but let's all take a step back and remember that not a one of us either played or coached in this game...In other words we didn't have a damn thing to do with the outcome
Playing about as good as they can play. Only loss being a close one to the # 1 team at the time.
College basketball rankings are based on preseason expectations and even if a team plays well
against good competition, there's not much movement until conference play gets underway.
I expect OSU to be highly ranked this year but, just as OU, they are a very undersized team and
there are some teams along the way they won't match up with very well.
Good game and Go Pokes
I can't believe that dude tried to trip a player. What an absolute loser.
Maybe you should go over to orangepower and let it all out over their. These are my 2 favorit post!
Postgame Thread: Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State (Gundy postgame inside) | OrangePower.com
#19This loss will hurt for years to come... Our status (in football) was cemented as little brother in the state of Oklahoma.
#20 And if it was cemented before - its bronzed now.
LOL
My goodness, you had to go and run and bring up that awful forum. Because someone with Sooner in the name had to get on there and become a new member, in order to make this interesting statement, assuming it's for real:
"I guess what I would say to an OSU fan is this: I have been an OU fan for most of my life. Most of my life I considered a win virtually guaranteed. Your program is on the rise. Mine is falling, much faster than most of the fan base realize. The money and exposure that is now present pretty much makes an OSU that is dominant a certainty at some point in the future. Today we played as a spoiler with a depleted roster bereft of talent. We no longer are going to get our choice of talent in Oklahoma or Texas. Kids want to go to the rising programs. Hurts me to say, but OU is quickly becoming a once-was. I'm sure today hurts but I would love to have your trajectory rather than ours."
Fan throws leg while team lays egg
Someone on twitter said the cheerleader was just stretching out his leg.....
On an earlier play u can see the same cheerleader spitting on an ou player
I gotta disagree with this. Chelf was a pretty good QB for OSU. I had this conversation with one of my coworkers at the beginning of the season when Gundy pulled Chelf out for Walsh against Mississippi State, I thought that was a mistake then and I still do. Chelf would have eventually gotten into a rhythm in that game as he did later on in the season. The kid was unstoppable against Baylor, Texas, or from T-Tech on, from what I recall. He didn't have his best day at all in Bedlam and im really not sure why....weather....game plan....or just SOONER MAGIC? Either way I will give the guy his props.
I thought Chelf established himself as a clear No. 1 QB for them, he played very well in most of the games that I saw. I still don't think that OU has a clear No.1 QB as they have been up and down all season, some real good games and some clunkers. Chelf at least seemed to be a stabilizing force at the position.
This OSU player is being taken away to the weed circle.
Ready for Walsh or the new gun slinger that's turning heads. Supposedly Mason Rudolph is legit, Gina Mizell thinks he'll start. Lets just get this disappointing season behind us. The sooner we get a D1 offensive coordinator the sooner we do that.
Chelf wasn't half bad. The nations most stacked receiving corps just couldn't catch balls all season. When you're OSU and not USC or OU or Ohio State you just can't afford to regress like that. It really is more of a fight for us because we don't get the credit we should in the first place, a la 2011 which I will never get over.
I appreciate the compliments about our programs rise, and it's not that I am insecure about anything, but I'm just a little more competitive and critical than most about everything. I just want this thing to keep moving along.
I'm more worried that Gundy won't have the guts to fire Yurcich than anything.
Yeah you're kind of right there. Everytime we get excited about a QB they have a terrible game and we are looking to the next guy. When Knight was named the starter at the beginning I was relieved because i'd seen Bell throw the ball last year and wasn't that impressed. By the time Bell came in for relief of Knight, I was relieved because Knight was a terrible passer. By the time Bell was hurt and Knight came back in, I (along with many other Sooner fans) was longing for Thompson. So what do we have now....LOL....that's the money question! Knight still has a lot of potential, Thompson still is the most exciting prospect for the future, and yet Bell came in and had that awesome game winning drive yesterday.
Most everyone knows that OU holds a 84-17-7 record over OSU for a 81% winning percentage.
But in spite of what the OSU sunshine pumpers say in our local media this is actually getting worse under Gundy for OSU.
He is only 1-8 against OU for winning percentage 89%.
And the prospects don't look good for the foreseeable future for the pokes.
Just have to say that you've proven to be one of the most a**holish fans I've ever seen. I'm glad you get so much pleasure from a football game played by 18-22 year old kids. It certainly seems like the most important thing that happens in your life.
While I'm disappointed in the loss, I'm not going up act like it's the only thing that matters in life. Good win for OU. Good season for OSU.
