I found out the other day that the Embassy Suites in Norman will not be having a Thanksgiving Day Buffet.
Can anybody tell me another place I should try? It can be in Norman or in the OKC area.
THANKS & HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I believe Legend's in Norman is open on Turkey Day.
In OKC, pretty much all the major hotels offer Thanksgiving meals: Skirvin, Sheraton, Waterford, etc.
The Skirvin would be a great option IMO, as you can then walk over to the Myriad Gardens and ice skate or just wander around.
In Norman, if we're not eating with kin, and occasionally when we are, we've enjoyed the community meal some churches and nfp's sponsor. There are some mighty fine cooks participating with that project.
Looks like the Skirvin charges about $50 for adults at the buffet, $40 for fixed price menu:

I found out this place is having a Thanksgiving Day buffet. I think around 20 bucks for adults.

Any other ones?
Sorry to ask this here, but didn't feel like making a thread (again)...
Does anyone know where I can buy pre-brined uncooked turkey? Thanksgiving is really when I miss Trader Joe's,
because I always bought brined whole turkey there
I think I've heard Sprouts sells them, but the few times I've been there, it was unpleasant...
Thank you in advance!
Whole Foods would be a good bet, but will definitely be more expensive than Sprouts.
They might have it. They're advertising some type of turkey out front.

Have you tried to brine your own? It's very easy. I use an Igloo water
cooler, like the ones holding Gatorade at football games, to hold my bird.
Keep it in the fridge.

Yep, several years ago I started to brine my own (using a large plastic bucket) and that with the use of a good meat thermometer has yielded fantastic results with just a basic turkey.
I've heard good things about kosher turkeys, as they usually are salted in a nice way.
The Biltmore Hotel is having a Thanksgiving Day buffet. I think around 13 bucks.
